  1. Took out a 5 year Life Line Guarantee when we purchase our 3 year old Juke, the sale person said never said we had to take it back to stoneacre for a service and MOT to keep the guarantee going. These prices are astronomical but went along with it then the car has developed an oil leak, so it went in for the service and MOT and they was asked to repair the oil leak. The garage at Grimsby checked for an oil leak but said it was coming from the Timing Chain cover and this is NOT covered under the warranty and charged us £99 for checking it out. They then said but it could be a pipe or something else, bring it back in a couple of month and we’ll check it again. DO NOT take out the cover it is not worth the paper it is written on

  2. We were most impressed with the Ordering and Handover process with Stoneacre Derby MG ! He was lovely to deal with throughout the process and refreshingly open and honest regarding the saga that is the Chip Shortage when nobody had a clue when cars would be delivered until just before they arrived!! Great guy … I’d recommend him and the car he supplied … the MG HS Exclusive Phev is great to look at fab to sit in and smooth over the bumps and feels really special when you sit in it and drive it ! Really impressed ! So is The Wife and she’s really hard to please !!!

  3. Friendly and polite staff but the quality of work by the service department is very poor. They damaged 4 new alloys when changing the tyres on my car and my friend’s car. They replaced my alloys with those of a newly delivered car to them, 5 months later! I feel sorry for the person that is driving on my damaged alloys. I won’t go there again for the change of a tyre. I had no internet connection using the car modem and they said they needed the “email” for it!? I ended up looking it up online and resolved it myself eventually. The service plan doesn’t cover much. Change of brake fluid is meant to be part of the service but my service plan SOLD TO ME BY THEM does not cover it. They charge £70 for brake fluid change and Kwik Fit charges £35! Brake fluid is the same in all cars.
