As a wallet, Exodus has been fine, but I’d caution anyone against performing any swaps there! My mothers bitcoin has been held hostage for two weeks now because one of the third-party exchanges used by Exodus has decided that her KYC requires extensive review. To avoid this ridiculous situation, perform your swaps elsewhere!
Most comfortable ios crypto wallet for saving and staking my crypto. Very nice app design and wide selection of supported currencies
Hard app to work on, not a friendly interface
This the laggiest program since the 1990’s. Used for over a year now. Upon opening, immediately uses a ton of CPU and the computer fan spins harder than I have ever heard it (harder than movie creation etc – hopeless). Why does it do this? No idea. Updated recently and now when trying to access my wallet it keeps asking me to update but can’t click on the x to close it or ‘remind me later’. What if I need to sell/buy something… every time I start it time seems to slow down. Really is the crappiest program I have used in a long time, and I use a lot. Snazzy dashboard is all it has going for it, useability should be rated below zero.
Exodus used to be a beautiful and focused app for token hodlers. It is evolving into a bloatware of functionalities that are under par when compared to competitive dedicated apps.
Added after Exodus reply:
Your customer service hasn’t changed and it is swift as lightning 😉.
My first question would be: what is Exodus? If the answer is “the only crypto place I need”, then I stand by my 4-star experience. Namely, I can’t envision your target user with the current plethora of features. The crypto-trading/staking/using features are not good enough for the advanced user, and the UX is too cluttered and non-intuitive for the unexperienced hodler. There are no features guiding user evolution and growth.
When I ask a question I got quick and understandable answers. I am no pro but have an interest in crypto and save my assets in a safe way. Thats’s why I choose Exodus.
I was trusting exodus before the crash when trust being was widely roughed so much, blowing whole marker to bits and crash. then now with them back and better too,now since new approach to whole crypto marker how they’ve evolved up to now still a leading and as modern as I feel they could be,and I trust the safety and reliability even more, consolidating most of my transactions thru their exodus platform and branching facilities connected with overall wallet and alike of needs. my go to cold wallet
It’s a good wallet, but my funds were stolen because I had a malware on my computer. At this point if exodus had 2fa, or some other extra security this would not have happened.
